I'm having a great time taking care of a two month old black scottie puppy, along with his friends--a tortoise and brown lab!

I work as a Wildlife Technician and sled dog handler. This takes me all over Alaska, from the Aleutians to Nome to Prudhoe Bay to Southeast. I enjoy the traveling and adventure this beautiful state has to offer!

Oh my! What does the tortoise do all day? Is he personable? I've been thinking about getting a turtle. :)

This is a Sulcata tortoise, originally from No. Africa, started as a teeny cutie and great at crazy rates! Plays all day outside during the summer, during the winter has free range of living room, lives in huge terrarium with heat lamps, very happy guy! I will email you a pic to show he crazy broccoli eating habits (posted before on my blog!)
