I took the 1 1/2 mile hike from Kennicott to the Root Glacier. I took these pictures standing on the glacier. One is looking back down the glacial moraine towards Kennicott, and the other is looking up the Root Glacier towards the Kennicott Glacier. I wished I had had crampons, but still maneuvered pretty well!

Looks to me like you took enough pictures that you must have tempted fate by being in there a long time.
What are your plans for winter employment?

You just gotta hope that that isn't the moment the glacier makes any sudden movements...all for the sake of a good pic!
I am doing petsitting full time and work in tv production, worked on two shows this week, it's pretty shallow stuff but pays the bills...
