I finally made it up to Hatcher Pass at the tail end of fall colors, two weekends ago. Last year I it was already covered in snow by the time I made it out there.  The pictures don't do it justice, it's SO beautiful up there.  Here's a pic near the summit and one of the Little Su river on the way down.

That is incredibly beautiful! This is why I come to your blog, for the few minutes of escape from my job when I can imagine myself in that gorgeous landscape (minus the snow)!

Keep those pictures coming! :)

i discovered your blog originally because of interest in Sarah Palin and the demo you covered a few weeks ago. That coverage was great. But, I keep coming beck because of the gorgeous, breathtaking photography of the Alaskan landscape you post. I can't believe how beautiful it is and how lucky you are to see it every day. It has such a calming effect every time I take a look. I find myself coming back here often. Thank you!

Thanks, I have to say though now that it's snowy there might be less posting of pretty pics, but I am glad you enjoy pics and I will make an effort to keep posting regularly!
